Paper details Over the last few chapters, we have been learning about various psychological disorders. Sometimes, in reading this information, it is easy to diagnose those we come in contact with. So, based on information available (doesn’t have to come from the text), if you were to diagnose a celebrity/public figure with a disorder, what would it be and why? I thought this would be a fun and different activity which would be thought provoking and allow you to do an assessment through observation. My goal in giving this topic is to show you that everyone seems to have “something.” Your assessment will show me that you know how to evaluate behavior and come up with a diagnosis. Of course, in order to truly diagnose a disorder, this would require a full assessment from a licensed professional. This is just a practice activity, so have fun and please be appropriate and non-offensive.

As this is a research assignment you will be expected to utilize legitimate sources. Preferably peer-reviewed articles or scientifically acknowledged publications.

Use of both APA in-text citations and complete references is required. Students must use at least five valid and reliable sources. Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source, so please refrain from using it.

Create 12 multiple choice questions based on 6 articles provided

Paper details Create 12 multiple choice questions using psychological terms and principals based on the 6 articles attached, 2 questions per article. Questions must be created as you are making an exam for a class. Include variety of the topic/terms.

All questions must have a true answer and 3 false answers labeled A,B,C,D 12 questions total.

If you submit 12 questions all asking what the Internal Validities were in the studies, I will deduct points.

Paper details Each student is required to write 1 post on the discussion board by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Each post has to demonstrate a meaningful synthesis of the material posted (typically a research article) and the corresponding chapter assigned for that week. Keep in mind that your discussion forum postings will likely be seen by other members of the course. Care should be taken when determining what to post.

Specifically, your posts should be critically reflecting on each week’s postings, relate it back to the week’s chapter, and will be graded based on your ability to connect the two in a thoughtful and coherent way. You can earn up to 3 points per post, please refer to the attached rubric when submitting your post to see the criteria upon which you will be graded. Keep in mind that these posts are meant to flow as a dialogue between all students enrolled in the class. It is very important that you reference your readings in these weekly posts as just making a post does not guarantee points. Your grade for each post will be based on the quality of your response. Hence, giving a blanket “I agree/I disagree” answers or opinions that anyone could write without having an in-depth understanding of the material assigned will not be accepted. It is also important that you read the week’s posting in its entirety. It is highly recommended to read previous posts so that you do not write similar ideas. Again, part of the grading criteria includes the student’s ability to add value to the ongoing discussion by connecting the material with information from the book and possibly outside sources. Weekly postings should be no longer than two paragraphs and should show your understanding of the week’s readings.
