Toronto: a multicultural city where racism persists

Paper details Objective: Throughout a critical analysis, you are expected to demonstrate an understanding of one aspect of the geography of Toronto. You are also required to show an active engagement with the subject and be able to formulate an original perspective on it. The goal of the essay is to examine how life in the city is shaped and affected by the constant interaction between the place and the people who inhabit it.

Evaluation: The essay requires the student to carry out an analysis of the subject, and make and justify an evaluative, comparative or explicatory judgement. The essay will be evaluated based on clarity of organization, logic, syntax, and grammar of student writing.•Follow an essay format and make sure your paper includes an introduction (clearly indicating the topic, a thesis statement, and how you plan to structure your paper), a proper body, and a conclusion (reviewing and summarizing the arguments and evidence presented in the body).•When you quote or paraphrase other scholars, you MUST provide in-text references and a full list of work cited at the end.•You are required to use at least 6 peer-reviewed journal’s articles(books’ chapters, commentaries, book reviews etc. will not be accepted as part of the required sources) outside class readings. In addition to the 6 required sources, you are free to use additional material with the only exception of Wikipedia.•Limit the number of quotations (I would suggest no more than 3) as this is expected to be an original student paper rather than a mosaic of quotes; paraphrasing is often a better option than quoting.

living nomadically

Paper details Why do you want to live anywhere on X for a year, and what excites you most about the opportunity to live nomadically and potentially inform the future of the X product?

Answer the question. go off of what is below and elaborate. 🙂

For me, personally, i’ve lived nomadically for a year before. I was happiest exploring new sights, experiencing new activities, and meeting new people who always brought fresh perspectives to light. Covid-19 was very difficult for me with the travel ban, and i’m so excited to get back to the travel life. It would mean so much to me. Living “comfortably” is so boring and expensive. I also have experience with this lifestyle, so i know i would be a great fit for the award since i already know i love it and can provide quality feedback for the company.

Paper details Summary:
One of the resources we use in this course is an online magazine called The Conversation in which scholars are tasked with presenting scholarly truth using the techniques of journalism. The articles are well-written and try to explain a complex up-to-date technical matter in an accessible way. In the resources for the ‘biodiversity’ materials from the previous week you should be able to find several articles form The Conversation.

In this assignment we want you to put together a 500-word (or so) article which follows the format of those published in The Conversation. The article should be about either the impacts which the contemporary world is having on forests or on coral reefs. You will need to do some research. You will find the pool of materials can be vast, so you will need to focus. It may help to focus geographically and to look at the forests or reefs of a particular region or country. Start the research with a visit to the resource materials for ‘biodiversity’ in this course. If you view the presentation on the term paper you will see an explanation of how you can undertake research through a resource known as CBCA Canadian Business and Current Affairs. This may help expand your understanding of how the media has been covering forests and coral reefs. It may help you get up-to-date on those Indonesian peat forests or those Philippine coral reefs.

When it comes to writing you should remember that even if you focus on a small case study (Orangutan forests being cut down for palm oil plantations, perhaps) you still get to make much larger-scale points about the human impact on the planet, the nature of The Anthropocene, the destructiveness of Capitalism or whatever. Take the opportunity to leverage some kind of analysis of some of these larger issues.
