Paper details This week’s topic concerns sharing information online and developing relationships via social media. Take a look at the primary social media platform you use (if you don’t have any social media, consider other ways you selectively self present for this assignment) and consider this week’s concepts. After looking at your own self-presentation, describe the following:

What kind of information do you share about yourself? Are there differences in your self-presentation between platforms? Take a look at your content – what patterns do you notice? Do you share a lot of selfies? Monologues about your feelings on current events? Political posts? Pictures with friends? Food? You can generally describe the nature of the information you share through text (e.g., demographics, images of life events, etc.), but also provide a bit more description. Think critically! Why do you post this sort of content? Go deeper than just saying “I like it.”
