Initial posts must be 200 to 300 words in length and posted by Day 3. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts. In your response, indicate what you have learned from your classmates’ answers and share how their responses have improved your understanding of the importance of editing as you work through your final drafts this week. Be specific in your responses. Response posts must be 125 to 200 words in length and posted by Day 7. If you have questions about how to participate in discussions, consult “About Discussions” under the Course Home menu.  You are not required to support your claims with additional scholarly materials; however, should you decide to use additional sources, make sure you properly cite any references.

ENG/121 Week 3 Dq 2 The Importance of Grammer, Mechanics, and Style

Though you have until Day 6, it is still to your advantage to complete your initial post as soon as you can.  You might have only Day 7 to respond to your classmate’s posts.  You have received feedback on the Diagnostic Essay and Diagnostic Quiz from Week One as well as your Narrative Essay Draft from Week Two. You have also read about and explored common writing problems after visiting the Ashford Writing Center. Review the feedback you have received; then, identify and discuss three errors noted in grammar, mechanics, or style. Explain why you think the errors occur, how you plan to correct the errors (specifically), and how you might avoid the errors in future work. Initial posts must be 200 to 300 words in length and posted by Day 6*. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts. You may find that a classmate shares your current problems or has problems that you used to experience but conquered before entering this class. This is a great opportunity to share your own experiences and offer each other feedback, support, and strategies. Response posts must be 125 to 200 words in length and posted by Day 7. If you have questions about how to participate in discussions, consult “About Discussions” under the Course Home menu. You are not required to support your claims with additional scholarly materials; however, should you decide to use additional sources, make sure you properly cite any references
