1. The end Value statement is a crucial part of any organization and spells out the purpose, key values, and mission that a given firm sets out to accomplish. By reading it, it’s possible to tell the direction a company would likely take and the expected results. In the case of Wildfire, the value statement revolves around doing good, and do right by each other. Traits such as passion, teamwork, humility, and integrity (Northouse pg.157, 2019). The employees of Wildfire also included aspects of courage to speak out at all times and having curiosity as important to words realization of the firm’s goal (Northouse pg.157, 2019).
I live in the Sugar Land community in Texas practicing as a nurse in the Psychiatric and Mental Health department with a future of setting up Psychiatric Telemedicine Center. Sugar Land is guided by the Value Statement of enhancing the life quality of its inhabitants through a commitment to excel in every aspect of public service (Texas Sugar Land, 2021). It’s an inclusive environment where individuals respect and value the contributions of every member (Texas Sugar Land, 2021). More so, the community upholds integrity and responsibility to do just to each other and the environment (Texas Sugar Land, 2021). Such values have transformed Sugar Land into a peaceful and happy place.
As a nurse practitioner, my ultimate goal is to establish and lead a successful Psychiatric Telemedicine. The success of the institution will depend largely on the leadership, the end value statement, and the commitment of the practitioners. The aim will be to create an institution that values the need for clients’ satisfaction, respect and adheres to the confidentiality of all patients, play within the set laws as per the guiding principles of health care provision. Also, the institution would adhere to integrity values where every individual who walks in will be accorded the necessary help as required by the medical procedures and treatment approaches and the respect for the environment. The firm will also encourage inclusivity, teamwork as one of the important pillars for a psychiatric institution. The Value Statement would be: Combined efforts towards clients’ satisfaction through adherence to health care guiding principles, respect for all, teamwork, inclusivity, integrity, and respect for mother earth as the ultimate health provider.
Inscribed in the End value statement is the institutions’ vision and mission and would help in establishing a culture that will be taught and spread to every aspect of the operations of the firm. Am a firm believer in teamwork as the basis of a successful team. I believe every person should be accorded respect and allowed to give their views, especially in medical care. No single individual’s opinion is greater than others rather, a combination of several suggestions can forge a powerful solution to difficult tasks. As a leader I intend to become, creating a platform where the practitioners can deliberate on issues and express their plight would be my greatest wish. Also, reminding everyone of the need to respect and protect the environment would ensure a sustainable system that doesn’t lead to pollution the Value Statement will be created by considering all the suggestions provided by employees involved and to serve our patients to satisfaction.

2. Defining and maintaining values are an integral part of the success of business, personal and professional practices. Wildfire, a social media software company, is a prime example of how establishing ethical, moral and end values, coupled with creating an organization where these values are agreed upon, believed in and followed by all employees, as well as a culture that where these values are maintained, can lead to success. (Northouse, 2021). The employees of Wildfire, bought into these values and aided in creating an end value, “do good, and do right by each other.” (Northouse, 2021, P. 66 p 1). These values were strengthened through leadership enforcing the standard, if an employee did not agree with or exhibit these values, they were terminated, regardless of performance of role within the company. (Northouse, 2021). This ensured a culture where these values were accepted by all.

It is important for all employees of an organization to buy into the value statement of an organization in order maintain and exude a culture where those values are actually upheld. Many end value statements, indicating goals or desired outcomes, are usually very similar within healthcare and other human service organizations. (Northouse, 2021). Some examples of these end value statements are:
School Based Health through Child and Family Agency, enrich the lives of local families and provide accessible or greater access to high quality health programs and services. (Child and Family Agency).
Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Emma Pendleton Bradley Hospital are both Lifespan affiliates and share the same overall end values, to deliver health through care and to respect individuality in treatment as well as interprofessionally. (Lifespan).
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, embrace discovery and teamwork to improve physical and emotional well-being of children through family-centered care. (Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
The Regional Multicultural Magnet School, to work together and lead by example, to educate and develop children who are respectful, inquiring and knowledgeable empowered and reflective change agents to promote a sustainable, just and peaceful world. (Regional Multicultural Magnet School).
All of these organizations share similar end values, to treat people with respect and dignity and have a positive impact on those they care for and treat within the organization.

Advanced Nurse Practitioners (APRNs) are no different from other employees when it comes to the importance that they agree with and promote the end value or the organization with which they work. Arguably, it may be more important for APRNs to promote such a culture as they are often placed or find themselves in leadership positions and should emulate end values to legislators, colleagues, families and individuals. (AANP, 2019). An APRN should continue to uphold and adhere to the values learned on day one in nursing school, nursing values such as altruism, autonomy, human dignity, integrity and social justice, that have been ingrained in all of us and are evident both professionally and in our personal day to day life. The end value of all APRNs is to be curious, calm, problem solvers, who seek to educate and advocate for others. These end values for APRNs are met through values of hard work to become comfortable with ones practice in order to be calm, to continue to be curious, always seeking personal growth and knowledge, as well as curiosity regarding their patients or clients, want to get to know them better in order to promote the most effective and efficient high quality care, to be creative and seek to solve all problems, within ones professional scope, and to be educated and well versed with each client’s needs and goals in order to best treat, educate and advocate for them. The end goal of the end value of an APRN is to always strive to be better in order to do better by others.
